Lyall's Drafting & Design Ltd. has grown tremendously as of late. We pride ourselves in being a top-notch Aboriginal Engineering Support firm. In order to maintain our high levels of professionalism in this fast paced industry it has become necessary and vital to expand our staff and service capabilities.

§  Lyall's Drafting receives Economic Development Recognition!!!
We are extremely pleased to announce that we have been recognized by CANDO during the 16th Annual National Conference & Annual General Meeting! We are proud to be recognized for our achievements in aboriginal economic development. .

August, 2009

§  Lyall's Drafting moves to a new office location.
We are growing! effective August 1st we will be relocating our office to a new location to 169 Hamilton River Road - Second Floor.

§  Lyall's Drafting expands it's technical capabilities.
We are pleased to announce that Penny Michelin and Matthew Stanley have joined our company as CAD Technicians and Designers in support of the Voisey's Bay Project.

§  Lyall's Drafting receives prestigious Ulnooweg Business Award!!!
We are extremely pleased to announce that we have been honored by the Ulnooweg Development Group Inc. during the 4th Atlantic Aboriginal Entrepreneur Awards Show! We are the proud recipients of the 2008 Aboriginal Business of the Year Award for Newfoundland and Labrador. Ulnooweg is an aboriginal business development support corporation which specializes in providing business loans and business advice to Atlantic Canada Aboriginal Entrepreneurs.

§  Lyall's Drafting proudly supports an AMEC Community Event!
We are very proud to have supported this worthwhile community initiative. All proceeds from this event are to be allocated to the community food bank and also to establish an engineering scholarship for graduating high school students wishing to further their studies in an engineering field.  Congratulations AMEC for putting off such an event!

  § Lyall's Drafting adds new support services! 
Kathy Lyall has joined our team as Office Administrator and General manager.  Kathy provides administrative support and office management for ongoing projects.

§Tiffany Lambourne has also joined our team as CAD Technician.  Tiffany  will provide technical support in CADD and GIS systems.

§ Lyall's Drafting - Doing Work In The BIG LAND! 
We have most recently been awarded a three year Site Engineering Services Contract with VALE INCO NL. at the Voisey’s Bay Mine Site in Labrador. We are specifically responsible for the design and implementation of all Capital Works Projects.
